SDE 3 Senior Software Engineer Similarities Team

At Amazon, I was the technical lead for the Similarities team, building features such as "Customers Who Bought Also Bought" and "Frequently Bought Together. I built a machine learning platform used by 100s of team across Amazon allowing technical and non-technical users to create custom recommendations. I launched the first content ranking algorithm on Amazon's detail page, contributing a significant amount to the entire organization's annual goals. I operated a tier-1 high-availability customer recommendations service. I am most proud of achieving recognition as a top-tier engineer during each review cycle.

Continuous Context Sensing and Prediction Smartwatch Framework. Insight was developed at the University of California,Riverside under advisor Reza Rewassizadeh. Insight offers a generic framework for continuous context sensingand prediction on smartwatches. Within the project, I researched and developed sensor log generation and retrieval, optimal file storage and IO, and semantic abstraction.
